Krishna District reported 463 new COVID-19 infections and four deaths in the 24 hours ended Tuesday morning.
According to a bulletin issued by the district administration, the Nuzvid division reported 170 cases, while the Vijayawada division without VMC boundaries reported 104 cases.
Up to 79 cases have been reported within the boundaries of the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation and 63 have been reported from the Bandar department.
In the past three days, the district recorded 1,113 infections, of which 421 were reported from the Nuzvid division, while Vijayawada reported just 165 cases.
As of Tuesday there were 6,251 active cases in the district and the total number of cases is 95,853. The death toll is 1,041.
