Fr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju is expected to take over the presidency of the Maharaja Alak Narayan Society of Arts and Science (MANSAS) Trust shortly after studying the Andhra Pradesh High Court order and taking the attorneys’ opinions.
The senior TDP leader and his daughter Aditi Gajapathi Raju said special prayers here in the Pydithalli Ammavari temple on Tuesday.
Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju had not visited the temple in the past 14 months after his dismissal as Chairman / Hereditary Trustee of the MANSAS Trust and the Devasthanams of Pydithalli Ammavari Temple, Simhachalam Temple, Ramateertham Temple and others.
Mr Ashok Gajapathi Raju turned to the media here and said he would reveal his plan for the future after studying the court copy.
TDP leaders, which included MLCs Dwarapureddi Jagadish and Gummadi Sandhya Rani and former Saluru MLA Bhanja Deo, were with Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju during his visit to the temple.
“Today it is a festival for the people of Vizianagaram. It is a victory for democracy and the people of Fort City, ”said party leader K. Venkata Narasinga Rao.
All the institutions of the MANSAS Trust, including the MR College, would soon be put on the right track, said another party leader Chigurupati Kutumba Rao.
