Two children were killed after branches of a tree fell on them Thursday in the village of Pilliputtu in Paderu Mandal, Visakhapatnam district.
The deceased were identified as M. Charan, 13, and S. Vineeth, 10, from the village of Pilliputtu.
Police said both Charan and Vineeth went to pick mangoes. Due to strong winds, the branches of a tree fell on the duo. Paderu police inspected the site. Further details have yet to be determined.
