The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) have prepared more beds here in their pilgrimage complexes Srinivasam and Vishnu Nivasam.
Joint executive officer Sada Bhargavi, who inspected the buildings on Saturday, instructed officials to ensure that facilities such as oxygen, medicines and nutritious foods for TTD workers and their families are included in the COVID care quarantine centers.
She also checked the supply of PPE kits, gloves, masks and face protection to front-line workers, apart from the medical and hygiene staffing requirements.
Ms. Bhargavi also set up an emergency team consisting of the Chief Medical Officer, the Additional Health Officer, the COVID Nodal Officer, the TTD Welfare Officer and a doctor from the BIRRD.
Deputy General Manager (Annadanam) Lakshman Naik has been instructed to ensure that quarantined workers are provided with nutritious foods according to the prescribed menu.
