The state’s COVID vaccine inventory was depleted Thursday and only about 24,672 vaccine doses could be administered before vaccine centers closed their doors.
Of the 6.4 lakh doses the state received, 6.28 lakh were used in a single day on Wednesday, the last day of Tika Utsav, according to the Ministry of Health.
So far, 45.96 lakh doses of vaccines have been administered in the state, according to the national CoWIN dashboard. Only 5.93 lakh people received two doses of the vaccine, while 40.03 lakh received the first dose of the vaccine.
