“Design Wakf Board as Commissionerate”

The convener of the Committee of Inquiry into Social Justice, Abdul Azeez, has appealed to the government to empower the AP Wakf Board as commissionerate to prevent board corruption.

In a statement to Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Monday, Mr. Azeez said that several billion rupees worth of land had been occupied by land mafia and that several board irregularities had taken place.

He called on the Chief Minister to take action against the corrupt officials on the Walf Board.
