District Collector Vivek Yadav has instructed Housing, Finance and Panchayat Raj officials to ensure that the special grounding mela of the Navaratnalu-Pedarandariki Illu program from July 1st to 4th is a great success. The district administration has set itself the goal of grounding 61,000 houses by July 4th.
“Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken up the program to ensure that no family is left without a roof. A home offers the family security, comfort and dignity. I congratulate the officials who worked tirelessly to put the foundation stone for 10,000 houses and now continue the good work making sure that the goal is achieved, ”said Mr. Yadav.
The collector urged officials to motivate the beneficiaries and begin construction, as well as ensure that the building materials are made available to them. He was also informed about the programs of the work by the project manager, Housing, Venugopala Rao.
As part of the special action, 15,000 homes in Narsaraopet would be grounded and Joint Collector AS Dinesh Kumar is the knot officer; 20,000 houses would be grounded in the Guntur Division with Joint Collector, Development, P. Prasanthi as node officer; 6,000 homes in the Gurazala subdivision are monitored by Joint Collector, Aasara, K. Sridhar Reddy; 20,000 houses in Tenali are supervised by Joint Collector, Housing, Anupama Anjali.
Assistant Collector Subham Bansal would oversee the program in the command control room in Guntur. Since the chief minister would be overseeing the program directly, efforts should be made to ensure that the goal is achieved, the collector said.
