TTD Executive Officer KS Jawahar Reddy took his oath on Thursday as chairman of the newly constituted Specified Authority (SA), which has all the powers and functions of a regular trust committee.
At a short event that was organized in Bangaru Vakili inside the temple, the additional EO AV Dharma Reddy administered the office of oath and secrecy for him and later also took the oath as convener.
Speaking to the media outside the temple, Mr. Jawahar Reddy described his appointment as chairman of the SA as a God-given opportunity and said he would do his best to advance various development work initiated by the previous board for the benefit of the pilgrims.
There were some other activities in the pipeline and the focus would also be on completing them before a new board was formed. The SA will seek further promotion of the Hindu Dharma of Santana, he said.
Among those present were JEO Sada Bharghavi, CVSO Gopinath Jatti and Deputy EO Harindranath.
