Ramco Cements Limited in Kolimigundla in the Kurnool district is starting the renovation of the 15th century Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, which was built by Sri Krishnadevaraya.
The company’s vice chairman Reddy Nagarjuna said in a press release that the renovation and rebuilding would begin Monday at a cost of $ 6 billion as part of corporate social responsibility.
The 600 year old temple would be structurally reinforced without affecting the original architectural values. Banaganapalle MLA Katasani Ramireddy will start work on Monday.
