: In a large exchange of fire between security forces and cadres of the prohibited CPI (Maoists), Three to six Maoists were reportedly killed Wednesday morning.
The exchange of fire took place near the village of Theegalametta below the boundaries of the Mampa Police Station in the Koyyuru Mandal inside the Visakhapatnam Agency.
According to the police superintendent, Visakhapatnam, B. Krishna Rao, the exchange of fire began in the early hours of the morning and lasted until the final report.
