The state government has extended the curfew by 10 days, ie from June 10th to 20th and the relaxation will apply from June 11th from 6am to 2pm (currently from 6am to 12pm).
According to an official notice, the working hours of government agencies will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The curfew had to be extended to reduce the number of positive cases, which has steadily declined, but not to a level where the government can breathe easy. Additionally, there is a risk of a third wave lurking, causing the government not to take any chances with the pandemic.
