The recovery rate from coronavirus infection in the state has risen to 92.33%, health officials told Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during a review meeting at his camp office on Monday.
The number of active cases also decreased to 1.23 lakh, compared to 2.11 lakh on May 17th. Health officials told Jagan Mohan Reddy that the test positive rate (TPR) for coronavirus infection in the state fell to 10.73% by Sunday.
On June 6, there were 1,753 beds available in the intensive care unit, compared to 380 on May 15. The number of available oxygen supply beds, which stood at 433 on May 17, has risen to 8,701, “officials said, adding that 90,553 people are currently in domestic isolation.
Mucormycosis
The state has recorded 1,551 black fungus infections to date and the disease has claimed 98 lives to date, they said.
