Government. Jagan focused on the well-being of all people in the state, Jagan says

“Our government has moved forward responsibly over the past two years, keeping an eye on the well-being of every family, region, community and person,” said Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during the budget session of the AP legislature held on Thursday.

Before passing the resolution thanking the governor, Jagan Mohan Reddy said he knew the value of life as he had seen it up close, the agony and suffering of families after they lost their breadwinner. “With this in mind, we have changed the Aarogyasri system and extended its coverage to anyone whose annual earnings are less than £ 5 and increased the complaints covered under the system from 1,000 to 2,400,” he said.

The state government procured 1,180 new ambulances as part of 108 and 104 services and ensured that the ambulance service was available within 20 minutes of a call. YSR health clinics have been set up in each village and health workers have been appointed for every 2,000 people. “The construction of village clinics will continue to ensure that all health services are on the doorstep of people in rural areas. Each mandal will have two PHCs and be equipped with facilities and staff, including two doctors, and they will be integrated into 104 services, ”said Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Regarding COVID-19 readiness, the Prime Minister said the government had done its best to expand testing facilities and expand health infrastructure. “Our government is the first to bring COVID-19 into Aarogyasri’s jurisdiction and more than 26,000 patients are treated under the program every day. We have spent nearly 2,229 crore on COVID-19 in the past 14 months. We also recorded the black fungus disease under Aarogyasri and notified hospitals, ”said Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Equipment improved

“We had a single virology lab and we sent samples to Pune to get the test results. Now we have over 150 laboratories involved in testing. During the first wave we had 261 hospitals for COVID-19 and now we have 649 staffed hospitals and 47,285 beds. COVID care centers have been set up for each constituency, ”he said.

In addition, 104 services have been expanded and oxygen monitoring cells have been set up in each district. The state government has done everything possible to ensure that the oxygen supply is regulated, said Jagan Mohan Reddy.
