Police arrested three youths Friday and confiscated 960 bottles of liquor, a car and two-wheeler valued at more than £ 5 in a remote shed at the Mandal headquarters in Tavanampalle, 20 km from here.
According to police, the defendant, identified as Arun Kumar, Delhi Prasad and Yugandhar, residents of Tavanamaplle, allegedly smuggled bottles of alcohol from Karnataka.
On a tip-off, a special group raided the shed and confiscated the liquor bottles and the vehicles. She also arrested the trio. The defendants were taken into custody.
