Kurnool City District Inspector I, who went to Hyderabad on Sunday morning to deliver a notice to Telugu Desam Party President Nara Chandrababu Naidu, returned to the city on instructions from senior police officers and the dilemma persists in whether he should serve the city or not.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Party’s Secretary of State Fr Ravi Kumar and another leader D. James filed two separate complaints in I Town and III Town Police Stations alleging that the Minister for Animal Husbandry was Sidiri Appalaraju in a televised debate in front of Mr. Chandrababu Naidu about the presence of the N440K COVID virus and that it was 10 to 15 times more virulent than other variants.
It is then assumed that the officer was asked not to deliver the notice to Mr Naidu as a similar action would be required against the Minister. The serviceability of the case was also checked in court and it was learned that the police had been asked to await further orders. No one at the Kurnool Police Department spoke to Mr. Naidu about the delivery of the notice.
