After Amara Raja Batteries Limited (ARBL) secured the provisional suspension of the Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) orders by the Supreme Court of Andhra Pradesh, it started operations at its plants in Nunegundlapalli (near Chittoor) and Karakambadi ( near Tirupati) resumed.
Back in the saddle, the company exuded confidence to meet all of its delivery commitments and assured its stakeholders that the temporary disruption will not have a material impact on operations or order backlog in the past few days.
“We have taken proactive measures to ensure that all of our commitments to deliver products and services to our customers are met in a timely manner without causing any inconvenience. We are evaluating the effects of the short-term disruption and preparing to adequately meet the requirements of all customers and business partners, ”said a company spokesman.
ARBL also announced that it would “continue to work closely with the APPCB” to resolve potential issues and referred to the board’s complaint about breaches of environmental standards.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to comply with all regulatory requirements by making the environment, health and safety of its workforce a top priority.
