Vajrapukotturu Mandal Murali Krishna’s deputy Tahsildhar called on the government to crack down on Medicover Hospital in Srikakulam on Thursday.
Mr. Murali Krishna and his mother were hospitalized after testing positive two days ago.
Murali Krishna posted video footage claiming the hospital provided stale food to patients. The Tahsildar also claimed that despite having severe breathing problems, he was given the normal medication available in pharmacies.
Many Tahsildhars and tax officials who were concerned about his health reportedly brought the problem to the attention of Collector J. Nivas. Meanwhile, hospital officials told the media that each and every patient was being treated appropriately.
