“The government should be cautious about the CBSE curriculum as many students are from the Telugu medium. The teachers have also been trained in Telugu medium and need sufficient time to get used to the new methods.
“Without action to improve basic standards and capture the power of students, adopting the CBSE curriculum would be a burden on them. This must be done after prior consultation with all academics, representatives of teachers’ associations and representatives of the opposition parties. Otherwise the students will suffer, ”he added.
