Kakinada MP Vanga Geetha Viswanath, accompanied by MLA D. Chandrasekhar Reddy from Kakinada City, started construction on Monday for the 100-bed Employees State Insurance (ESI) hospital in Sambamurthy Nagar, Kakinada City, district East Godavari canceled.
Construction work on the 100-pound crore hospital was delayed by almost six months due to the spread of COVID-19 and other technical reasons.
Ms. Vanga Geetha has stated that ESI Hospital would cover nearly two lakh beneficiaries associated with various industries in and around the city of Kakinada and that they would no longer have to rush to Rajamahendravaram to see the ESI Hospital establishment in To avail.
Ms. Geetha thanked Union Labor Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar for his assistance in granting the hospital grant. Public works department assistant engineer N. Solman Raju said that construction would be completed within 15 months.
