Telugu Desam Party’s national president N Chandrababu Naidu said TDP offices and workers will provide free services to COVID patients to get online medical help. The party will also help get hospital beds for serious patients.
In a statement on Thursday, Mr Naidu asked those in need to contact the TDP offices nearby so they could get the services they need. The party would arrange free online help for those with mild symptoms of COVID and for those who have been in domestic isolation. Free medication would be provided to poor patients suffering from COVID, he said.
For patients with severe symptoms, the TDP would expand assistance in finding beds for patients in government or private hospitals. These services were launched as part of the TDP’s core motto of treating people as gods and society as temples, he said.
Mr Naidu said the party had decided to donate plasma to the designated centers with the help of the NTR Trust. Every TDP activist is ready to do selfless service around the clock in these days of extreme trouble, he said.
