Rare honor for Ramanarayanam temple

The Postal Department will post a postcard in the temple grounds on Wednesday

Ramanarayanam Temple, built in the shape of a Shiva Dhanassu, received a rare award when the Postal Department issued a £ 25 postcard on the temple grounds on Wednesday for Sri Rama Navami.

According to Narayanam Srinivas, a member of the Narayanam Charitable Trust, Postmaster General Mutyala Venkateswarulu will clear the mail cover.

Speaking to reporters, Mr. Srinivas said that the temple was built by his family to help people easily understand the great epic of Ramayanam. He said the youth could understand the meaning of Ramayanam, which was explained in the form of pictures on the temple grounds. Meanwhile, he urged devotees to visit the temple and attend Kalyanam by strictly adhering to COVID-19 protocols as the second wave spread rapidly in Fort City.

Ramateertham authorities also urged supporters to maintain social distance and wear masks during the Sita-Rama Kalyanam performance on Wednesday.
