The state exceeded the daily target of giving six lakh people a COVID vaccine on Wednesday, the last day of “Tika Utsav”.
Vaccine doses
After nearly running out of vaccine doses for two days, the state received 6.4 lakh doses, including 4.4 lakh Covishield and 2 lakh Covaxin, and much of it was used in a single day, like on the one national CoWIN dashboard at indicated by 9 p.m.
In addition to approximately 2,000 state and private vaccination centers, the state conducted vaccination campaigns in a secretariat under all rural and urban PHC limits in the state for a total of 3,408 centers.
Of these, 3,002 were government run and 406 were private vaccination centers.
