Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) staff seized £ 1.04 million worth of gold and diamond jewelry from two people traveling on an Orange Travels bus from Hyderabad to Madurai on Wednesday.
SEB Additional SP Gauthami Sali said the two people wore the ornaments with no documents about the source of money, the place of purchase or the waybill for the destination.
SEB staff, with the help of local police, checked the bus at the Panchalingala checkpoint on the outskirts of the city on the interstate border, detained people and recorded one case.
