AP School Education Regulatory and Monitoring Commission secretary Aluru Sambasiva Reddy on Friday warned management of private schools and junior colleges in the state of a violation of the High Court’s injunction on GO 57.
In a statement, Mr. Reddy indicated that the court had overturned GO 57 in connection with the fee charged by the management of private schools and junior colleges. He said the court made several remarks asking management not to harass students and parents, and said the latter should diligently follow them.
School management should not insist on paying the entire fee at once, should not prevent students from taking online or physical courses even if they have not paid their fee, should not withhold exam results and the students who do not pay their fees can pay, show sympathy said Mr. Reddy.
Mr Reddy said any violation would be a contempt on the part of the court and the commission would not spare such management.
