According to official information, the deputy chairman of the National Commission on Minorities, Atif Rasheed, will visit the state on a two-day trip.
Mr Rasheed will meet with Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan on April 8th and will also visit the homeless shelters for the homeless, old people’s homes, the women’s advancement and development center in the city. He will also visit the Urdu Academy and the Wakf Board and hold a meeting with the State Minority Commission.
On April 9th, he will review various central and state government programs that are being implemented in the state. Mr. Rasheed will also visit a Gurudwara and a church.
