TDP boss KS Jawahar has objected to the notification and election plan issued by the State Election Commission (SEC) for the ZPTC and MPTC elections.
In a statement Friday, Mr Jawahar said that state election commissioner Nilam Sawhney had issued the notice in a hurry.
“The SEC did not seek the opinion of all political parties prior to the announcement. How does the SEC conclude that the election can be done in a day? “He asked.
The TDP would not accept the way the SEC is handling the electoral process, he said.
