On the instruction of the state government to vaccinate everyone over 45 years of age, the district administration has drawn up plans to accelerate the vaccination campaign.
According to Jeevan Rani, District Immunization Officer (DIO), there are over 200 vaccination centers in the district, apart from the secretariats of the community / village where the program started Thursday. She said the government plans to vaccinate 30,000 people a day.
“Almost two lakh people were vaccinated in the district in three phases. This month we plan to vaccinate nearly seven to eight lakh in the district, ”said Dr. Jeevan Rani, adding that both Covishield and Covaxin vaccines are widely available.
