The Ramanarayanam Temple near the Y Junction in Vizianagaram is preparing for its seventh annual Heaven Celebrations, which will take place on Friday.
As part of the annual celebrations, Suprabhata Seva, Astakalasa Snapana, Vishesha Archana, Varsha Vardhana Homam, and Navagraha Homam are performed in the morning, according to Temple Trustee Narayanam Srinivas. The heavenly wedding will be performed simultaneously at 5 p.m. with Sridevi-Bhudevi Sahita Sri Vaikuntha Narayana Swamy and Sri Sita Kodandarama Swamy
The temple authorities have made special arrangements for devotees who are expected to come from different parts of the North Andhra region. The temple, which depicts all of Ramayanam in the form of images, was built by the Narayanam family seven years ago. The Hanuman Chalisa laser show, which is shown on a 60-foot-tall Hanuman statue every evening, catches the attention of followers here.
Mr Srinivas urged devotees to follow COVID-19 protocols such as safe distance, wearing masks and using disinfectants before entering the temple grounds.
