KLU students pack plum job offers in a placement campaign

According to the responsible Vice Chancellor of the university, N. Venkatram, students on the campuses of KLU Deemed University in Vijayawada and Hyderabad received more than 3,000 job offers in national and international companies in campus practices in 2021.

Representatives from top companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, AND, Axile, Optum and NCR and selected students from B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA took part in the recruitment campaign. BBA and B.Sc. UG and PG courses, said Mr Venkatram. While 526 students were selected for Dream Companies, 906 found jobs in Super Dream Companies.

He said that MBA students were offered an annual package of 10 lakh while those aspiring to M. Tech pocketed an annual package of 15 lakh.

The highest annual salary offered to date is 25 lakh, he said, saying that representatives from more than 20 multinational corporations are expected to attend the university for a campus internship campaign.

The university’s dean of studies, S. Venkateswarlu, said that students who register for an internship receive special training. The academic curriculum is designed to turn the students into all-round personalities. In addition to national companies, students should complete a six-month internship in German, Japanese, American and Taiwanese companies.

He said that despite the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the students were trained in online mode and even the on-campus recruitment campaign was conducted in virtual mode.
