The search for the body of another boy is ongoing.
Police retrieved the bodies of three boys on Monday morning from Vasishta, a tributary of the Godavari River, on the island of Koderulanka under the police borders of P. Gannavaram in the Konaseema region of East Godavari district.
Police launched a search on Sunday evening for four boys who were reportedly drowned in the river while trying to take a bath.
P. Gannavaram SI G. Surendra related The Hindu that the deceased were identified as B. Naveen Kumar, Y. Ratna Sagar, and Pantala Pawan. The search for another boy, Kandavalli Vinaya, continues. The bodies were found near the island.
All of them belonged to the island of Konderulanka and are about 15 years old. You studied in the 10th. The police have registered a case and an investigation is ongoing. The bodies were taken to the Amalapuram Government Hospital for autopsy.
