The state government has canceled the SSC (10th grade) and Intermediate Board exams.
Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh said at a press conference that after the Direction of the Supreme Court In order to complete the entire examination process including the declaration of results by July 31, the state had no choice but to cancel the examinations.
The minister said after reviewing the Supreme Court’s decision with officials from the Department of Education and the Board of Intermediate Education, it was decided to cancel the exams.
“We only have the practical exam grades from the students’ intermediate exams with us. A high-level committee is being set up to develop templates that will be adopted for assessment and grading, ”said the minister.
In response to a reporter’s comment about the government’s “indecision” in conducting the audits, Mr. Suresh said there was no ambiguity about the government’s position on the matter from the outset.

“We have always been in favor of taking the exams with a view to the academic future of the students. We mentioned the same thing in the affidavit filed with the Supreme Court. But now that the Supreme Court has set a 10 day deadline and it is not possible to complete the entire review process by July 31st, we have decided to withdraw the exams, ”Suresh said.
