Naidu condemns bindover cases against Atchannaidu’s relatives

The national president of the TDP, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has described the bindover proceedings filed against the family members of party state president K. Atchannaidu as “politically motivated”.

“The false cases filed by the Kotabommali police are unacceptable,” he said, warning the YSRCP leaders and the “erring” police officers of the consequences of continuing with such an “oppressive agenda” against the TDP leaders.

Mr. Naidu also called for the government to shut down the rowdy papers that were “illegally” opened against Harivara Prasad, Suresh and Krishna Murthy. Previously, the TDP leaders urged DGP D. Gautam Sawang to close the rowdy papers and drop the wrong cases.

“The state government has ruled against BC leaders like Atchannaidu, Palla Srinivasa Rao, Kollu Ravindra, and others. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is using coercion as a weapon to silence the voice of dissent against his wrong policies, ”they said.
