Ensure a corruption-free housing system, CM tells officials

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed officials to ensure that there is no room for corruption in the construction of houses under the Pedalandariki Illu program, and sudden increases in prices, including transportation costs, did not escalate sharply the costs that would put an unbearable burden on the state treasury in the given situation.

At a housing review meeting Thursday, Jagan Mohan Reddy said due attention should be paid to solving problems with the provision of water, electricity and other infrastructure in the Jagananna colonies and TIDCO homes.
