A virtual summer camp – 2021 is being organized by the Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) for students aged 12 to 18 from June 28th to July 4th. Students have two hours a day of instruction in the wildlife of Vizag Zoo, animal behavior studies, animal husbandry in the zoo, rescue of wild animals, butterflies and veterinary care of zoo animals.
There will also be some fun activities and daily chores, IGZP officials said. Interested students should complete applications on the zoo website (www.vizagzoo.com). The deadline for registration is June 25th. Each participant receives an e-certificate, a special souvenir kit and a free visit to the zoo after the zoo opens.
