283 families who live near the CM camp office are given house places

District collector Vivek Yadav handed over land to 283 beneficiaries in the village of Atmakuru in Mangalagiri on Saturday.

The families live on invaded land owned by the Ministry of Irrigation (flood bank) near the Prime Minister’s camp office.

Mr Vivek Yadav said that on the instructions of Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the beneficiaries were given house pattas for two cents each to give them an alternative house place as they lived on an invaded land.

The beneficiaries had been placed under the Navaratnalu-Pedalandariki Illu program, in which each of them was endowed with 1.80 lakh.

Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy said beneficiaries should thank the chief minister for taking such an initiative. While everyone else in urban areas received one cent of land, the beneficiaries received two cents each.

Joint Collector, Housing, Anupama Anjali was present.
