Loosening of the curfew from June 21st to 30th until 6pm

The state government has announced a further easing of the curfew from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with effect from June 21 to June 30. The loosening will therefore take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The decision was made in a high-level review meeting on COVID chaired by Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday.

However, due to the high rate of positivity, the easing will take place in the East Godavari district from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. by June 30th.

According to an official announcement, shops and businesses have to close by 5 p.m.

All government agencies will operate as normal (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 21, due to the easing of the curfew
