Andhra Pradesh SC and the President of the ST Teachers’ Association, Samala Simhachalam, on Tuesday called on the state government to regulate the services of all 3,500 cluster resource workers working at various schools under the control of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
In a press release, he said that even after ten years of service, they could not be taken on as regular employees. “Despite their dedicated work on an equal footing with other teachers, they are still on a contract basis. They get meager salaries. The government should come to their aid and ensure them a decent livelihood, ”said Simhachalam.
