Make SIT Report Public, Says CPI (M)

The CPI (M) Greater Visakha City Committee called for action against all land grabbers, regardless of party affiliation.

CPI (M) City Secretary B. Ganga Rao alleged Monday that some MLAs and ruling party leaders were involved in the expropriation of government land. He said the YSRCP government promised to release the SIT report within 100 days of taking power, but no action was taken even after two years.

He said the government had only targeted opposition leaders, which created suspicion among the public. He called for the SIT report to be published.
