Parvatipuram, Deputy Police Commissioner A. Subhash, warned Saturday that tough measures would be taken against the traders and others who employed children for work in their shops and premises.

Speaking at a program organized by the Integrated Rural People Welfare Association for World Day Against Child Labor, he urged people to notify the police and labor authorities if they find child labor in hotels, shops or other locations.

IRPWA director PK Prakasha Rao said they would endeavor to provide free education to child laborers by convincing parents.
