Oxygen concentrators donated to hospital

COVID-19 patients in remote tribal areas in the Parvatipuram mandal of Vizianagaram district will no longer have to travel to the district oxygen concentrator headquarters thanks to several service organizations that donated 10 units to the Parvatipuram area hospital on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Mission Oxygen and the Leprosy Society jointly handed over 10 oxygen concentrators to the superintendent of the Parvatipuram area hospital, B. Vagdevi. Dr. Vagdevi said the donation is a blessing for the patients as they no longer have to worry about refilling their oxygen bottles.

Lanka Ramana, project leader at Leprosy Society-Vizianagaram, said the organization decided to help tribal patients after discovering that all services were limited to cities.
