City Councilor and Urban Development Minister Botcha Satyanarayana instructed Vizianagaram Collector M. Hari Jawaharlal to hold a high-level meeting with company officials and union leaders to reopen the Nellimarla jute factory.
Together with Acting Minister Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, Mr. Satyanarayana listened to complaints from workers in the collector’s office. Later, when he spoke to reporters, he hoped that there would soon be a friendly solution to the jute mill issue.
“Officials from the joint collector (Asara) and the Ministry of Labor will hold a meeting shortly and the information will be shared with the collector. If the subject is not settled here, we will take it up in the State Secretariat, ”said Satyanarayana.
