Jagan didn’t keep his job promise, TDP claims

Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) State Secretary-General Md. Nazeer has alleged that Prime Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy failed to implement the promises he made during his pre-election Padayatra.

Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Mr Nazeer said Mr Jagan had promised to fill two lakh posts that would be vacant in various government departments if he were elected to power. He also promised to post a vacancy notice every January, but that didn’t happen, Nazeer said.

The TDP leader claimed industrialists did not come forward to invest in the state after Mr. Jagan took office as prime minister. Mr Nazeer said former Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu not only managed to attract investment in the state, but also helped youth find jobs through various programs in the public and private sectors.
