The High Court cleared the way for the distribution of B. Anandaiah’s “K” herbal supplement on Monday.
It instructed the government to submit its report on the effectiveness and safety of the eye drops, which allegedly increase oxygen levels, by June 21 and made the matter public for further hearing that day.
Based on the report of the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), the court has already approved the preparations “P”, “L” and “F”.
The CCRAS said although the drugs are harmless, there is no evidence that they can cure COVID-19.
