CS encourages students to become techpreneurs

Chief Secretary Adityanath Das said on Sunday that students should come up with new ideas and become techpreneurs by creating start-up companies.

At a meeting on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the VIT-AP University in virtual mode, Mr Das paid tribute to the management for providing high quality education and said that despite the pandemic, the first graduates had achieved 527 places, which reflected his commitment to the To make students responsible citizens.

VIT founder and Chancellor G. Viswanathan said in a short time that VIT-AP had created a world-class infrastructure for 4,728 students from 28 states and six countries and faculties from 17 different states. There were also 65 clubs to turn the students into round personalities.

VIT-AP Vice President Sekar Viswanathan said students, researchers, professors and staff were rewarded on the occasion. The university awarded 71 academic awards, 13 student achievement awards, 17 faculty awards, six employee awards, and certificates of appreciation for academic, research, extracurricular activities and achievement.

Executive Director Sandhya Pentareddy, Vice Chancellor SV Kota Reddy, Chancellor CLV Sivakumar, Deputy Director (Student Welfare) Anupama Namburu and others were present.
