NIT-AP invites you to apply for research programs

The National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications for its research programs for the academic year 2021-22. This includes applications for Ph.D (both full-time and part-time) and MS (research).

Candidates can register at www.nitandhra.ac.in to fill out and submit the online application form. The deadline for submitting applications is June 10th. NIT-AP offers B. Tech. in eight engineering branches: biotechnology, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communications technology, mechanical engineering as well as metallurgy and materials technology. It also offers M.Tech in eight specializations.

The institute also offers Ph.D programs (both full-time and part-time) in all of the above engineering, natural sciences, humanities and management, namely math, physics, chemistry, English and management and MS (by research) program in the eight engineering branches mentioned above.

Half-Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) is available to full-time researchers who progress towards the Ph.D. Programs in different departments, depending on availability, as determined by the Ministry of Education (MoE). HTRA recipients are obliged to support the department with scientific work.

PhD (part-time)

These positions are open to candidates who regularly work in renowned research institutions / academic institutions / industries and who have at least two years of professional experience. There is no entitlement to an institute scholarship. PhD positions (part-time) are also open to faculty members who are currently working on an ad hoc basis at the NIT-AP.
