200 bed isolation center in Singanamala. opened

On Sunday, an isolation center with 200 beds for COVID-19 patients was opened at the Korrapadu Social Welfare Hostel in the Singanamala (SC) constituency in the district.

The center, an initiative of the Aluru Foundation, was inaugurated by Anantapur MP Talari Rangaiah and Singanamala MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavathi.

Three doctors from Korrapadu PHC and Bukkarayasamudram were assigned to monitor the patient’s health. In addition, 12 Asha employees, nurses and ANMs were hired to look after the needs of the patients.

60 oxygen bottles were procured for the facility with 50 oxygen-assisted beds.

Oxygen masks, stretchers, wheelchairs, backrests, and other equipment were procured for use in the isolation center.
