VR Engineering College has partnered with global robotic process automation (RPA) giant Blue Prism as part of the university’s academic alliance program to train its faculty and students in intelligent automation and artificial intelligence technologies.
As part of the collaboration, in addition to career opportunities in the RPA area, the college’s students are offered seven courses that are in high demand in the industry.
The college’s rector, AV Ratna Prasad, said the initiative would open up opportunities in intelligent automation and AI for both faculty and students of all engineering backgrounds.
The head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, D. Rajeswara Rao, said the students would benefit from the exposure of the program and the cutting edge technologies that would give them an edge in the job market.
Siddhartha Academy Secretary P. Lakshman Rao and Vice President M. Rajayya welcomed the initiative and said it would help bridge the gap between industry and science.
