Sachivalayams warned against neglecting work

Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) project officer S. Venkateswar warned community / village achivalayams staff to be vigilant during the pandemic and to offer all services to the public.

Mr Venkateswar said he had received complaints against Sachivalayam employees and warned them that if they were found guilty of a breach of duty, their jobs would be quit.

The project officer spoke to health officials, MPDOs and Tahsildars about steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the ongoing fever check-up.

Mr Venkateswar said the 10th fever check-up at the agency should be properly organized and people with symptoms of fever should be taken for testing immediately. He said the district administration will ensure that every mandal has a COVID-19 care center.

The ITDA PO said the agency has 14,126 vaccine doses in 40 hospitals. There are 13,052 Covishield doses and 1,074 Covaxin doses. He directed officials to raise awareness about the vaccine and ensure that people over the age of 45 are given the vaccine. Officials should ensure that social distancing is observed in vaccination centers.
