AMCANA donates ₹ 50 lakh worth of equipment to King George Hospital

The Andhra Medical College of North America (AMCANA) Alumni Association has donated equipment and supplies worth ₹ 50 lakh to King George Hospital in Visakhapatnam.

The supplies, which include oxygen concentrators, BiPap machines, NIV masks, PSA kits, N-95 masks, insulin syringes, blood glucose meters and disposable gloves, were given to Dr. Mythili, Superintendent of KGH, Visakhapatnam.

After receiving the auxiliary material, Dr. Mythili at AMCANA for his gesture and said that AMCANA was always in need to help.

Dr. Nagendra Myneni, President of AMCANA, responded with a definitive promise to make further contributions as required with the help of the contributions of the esteemed old AMC students. He said the group also hosts daily Zoom conferences from world-class experts to share their experiences with doctors in India to help treat COVID-19 patients.
