BJP President Somu Veerraju’s six-year term as a member of the Legislative Council expired on Monday.
Mr. Veerraju thanked his party as well as the YSRCP, TDP and others for expanding cooperation in his struggle to solve people’s problems.
In a press release, Mr Veerraju recalled that he always supported governments when they were doing something good for the people but resisted them and they fought both inside and outside the house over actions that were not in the best interests of the people .
The BJP veteran said he was glad to have the opportunity to protest against injustices done to the poor and to get certain things started in their favor and issues related to public health and various other sectors to solve.
He also said he had exposed the shortcomings in the government’s COVID containment efforts and was keeping an eye on the public interest.
